BrickCon is a Convention for Adult LEGO® Hobbyists (ALH). It is made up of two parts: Convention and Exhibition.
The Convention provides a place for ALHs to get together, meet other hobbyists, some of whom have been only names before being met at the Con, share their friendship, experiences and show off their fantastic creations.
There are many smaller events within the Convention including contests, games, round-table discussions, seminars and presentations.
The Exhibition invites LEGO® fans of all ages to view hundreds of incredible hobbyist-built creations and meet, and hopefully be inspired by, their creators.
Our ninth annual BrickCon Exhibition will be held October 2nd and 3rd, 2010.
We are returning to the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall, which is on Mercer Street just across from the Parking Garage.
We will be open to the public from 11:00am to 3:00pm Saturday, Oct. 2nd, and Sunday, Oct. 3rd.
The admission price is $7 per person, children under 4 are admitted free.
Tickets can be purchased at the Exhibition Hall ticket booth beginning at 10:30am on Saturday and Sunday (cash and checks only, please).
Advance tickets may be purchased online after July 1st, here. We will be able to accept all forms of online payment via paypal. You will not need a paypal account to purchase tickets. There will be a small service fee for this convenience.
Registration is for people attending the entire three day Convention.
If you are a die-hard fan of LEGO, you might be considering registering.
We strongly discourage people under the age of 14 from registering. The aim of our event is to bring together mature people who enjoy the hobby of building with LEGO elements.
We suggest that those under the age of 14 will be better served by attending the Public Exhibition on Saturday and/or Sunday.
If you are under the age of 18 and want to register, at least one of your parents must also register. This is to ensure that non-adults have the guidance and care we cannot provide.
If you are an adult who enjoys the hobby of working with LEGO® elements, then you should consider Registering and plan to join us for 3 15-hour days (four days, counting setup) of fun and friendship.
If you are unsure about this level of intensity, you should visit on Saturday and/or Sunday and see the amazing things made with LEGO® elements and meet the awesome people who build them!
Although we do permit people under the age of 18 to attend the full Convention as long as a parent (or adult guardian) also attends, we strongly discourage people under the age of 14 from attending. Most of the activities we schedule are directed toward adults and usually require attention spans longer than most younger children exhibit. It is common for the adults who attend to have conversations which might be deemed inappropriate for younger listeners.
If you do choose to bring your son or daughter to the full Convention, we must remind you that you are responsible for their behavior at all times during the Convention.
No. We cannot allow Public Guests to bring and display creations due to logistical and insurance reasons. However, anything created by our guests at our Build Zone will have a dedicated place for its display (although the constructions cannot be taken home).
Yes! Throughout the Convention there will be T-Shirts and LEGO® parts, sets and related items for sale at our Brick Bazaar. The Bazaar will be open to the public during Public hours (11am - 3pm Saturday and Sunday).
There is no way to know ahead of time what will be available. Please come Saturday and Sunday to find out!
A registered participant (attendee) is allowed to attend all three days of the Convention (8am to 11pm; Friday, Saturday and Sunday), plus Thursday Move-In (8am to 10pm). Activities include presentations, seminars, roundtable discussions, contests, games, door prizes and many experiences unique to a LEGO® Fan Convention. The full attendee receives a Convention Packet contaning a personalized brick name badge, a program of activities, some exclusive hand outs, coupons and other fun stuff. The fee is $65 for adults over 21, and $60 for all others.
"Open to the public" means we invite everyone to view our exhibition of hundreds of hobbyist-built LEGO® models involving hundreds of thousands of LEGO® pieces. Also, there will be a Building Zone, a Brick Bazaar (where LEGO® stuff may be purchased), door prizes, and other give-aways. The public times are Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 3pm. The fee is $7 per person (children under 4 are free).
After July 1st, you will have the ability to purchase tickets online in advance, here. We will be able to accept all forms of online payment via paypal. You will not need a paypal account to purchase tickets. There will be a small service fee for this convenience.

You may purchase admission for the Public Exhibition directly at the door on the days of the Exhibition (cash and checks only, please).
The Public Exhibition hours are 11am to 3pm Saturday, Oct 3 and Sunday, Oct 4. The ticket booth will be open at 10:30am each day to allow you to get tickets before the doors open.
Yes. All of the activities scheduled during the Public Exhibition are intended and suitable for people of all ages.
One of our fan-favorite public activities is the large Building Zone where children of all ages can play and build with hundreds of LEGO® elements. Once built, these masterpieces can be displayed for all to see on our Building Zone display tables. Sorry, these constructions cannot be taken home.
We also have free Door Prize raffle drawings.
There may be un-announced contests in which the public will be welcome to participate.
Visit the Exhibition Saturday, October 3rd, and Sunday, October 4th, from 11am to 3pm.
